Motte and Bailey Castle?

The mentioned source (CastleUK.net) does not mention any motte and bailey castle on that site. It rather informs about an early 13th century defensible hall house. --MartinHansV (talk) 14:13, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Caming

"From the existing remains we know that the ground floor of the castle had central pillars caming a longitudinal beam on which the first floor joists rested," caming is presumably a typo, but of what? Ϣere SpielChequers 21:22, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
